The blood work result is so great ❤

This time was a new doctor who asked us more about the case and coronavirus. Thee doctor even thought XiaoBao was not FIP after reading the blood work, but since 441 injections (20-day injections + 24-day oral administration) had good results , it’s all about coronavirus~

About the intestines:

The blood report came out pretty hood. I asked the doctor again if he need a check on bowel.

The doctor said it is not recommended as the symptoms are good and surgery is not also recommended as XiaoBao is already close to 13-yrs old.

Even if my intestines were still swollen after the surgery, I wouldn’t recommend surgery to find out the cause if I’m close to 13 years old.

He suggested us to observe for the coming 3 months and come back in case of any happens.

XiaoBao was 12.5 old at mid-August 2022, his weight drop from around 4.8 to 4.9 kg to 4.5 kg. His apptetie was very low and only wanted to sleep all day. His stool was very soft and jellish in brown or transparent color.

I took him to the doctor five times for blood tests. The report showed that he had enteritis, pancreatitis, etc. The wall of the large intestine was thickened by nearly 2cm. There were signs of thickening in the ileum and duodenum, and he was suspected of having cancer. He had a specialist tissue test (excluding the left side). It’s not cancer) In the end, it’s just severe enteritis

The doctor prescribed antibiotics for more than 3 weeks and gradually increased the dose. However, XiaoBao did not get better and his weight continued to decrease.

In the end of Sep, his weight dropped to 3.9 kg, kept not eating and moving, his energy is very low. He felt very exhasusted with the antibiotics and the stool are all fulid.

Luckily we met Uncle Kit afterward, he explained us the mutation of feline coronavirus and XiaoBao case did very likely to be FIP, which our doctor never talked about before

We was thinking to take XiaoBao for further check on Fcov, however his emotion was very back and was very scared to be taken to the clinic due to serveral times of surgery. We decided to start Bliss treatment directly.

After 2 days XiaoBao already had better energy but the case was very fluctuate, Uncle Kit helped us to adjust the dosage. After few days his apptite was getteing better and better and his weight started to gain.

On Day 20 of treatment, Xiao Bao already gained back to 4.4 kg and started resisting the injection, we therferore switched on pills on Day 24.

Now he is already post-treatment 15 days and weight back to 4.7 kg!
