Bean Bean
Hello everyone, it has been 3 months after Bean Bean finished FIP treatment.
I want to take to chance here to thank uncle Kit, Ellen and Lucas
At the same time I hope our story can encourage more parents about this disease.
In the Beginning of 2023, I found Bean Bean eat much lesser, lack energy and start losing weight.
We thought it was because cold weather but one day we think he is very abnormal.
I took him to the vet and found he had inflammation in eyes.
After few days, as Bean Bean has no any improvement, we bring him to vet again,
and they did a fast kit which is showing Bean Bean has FIP.
Vet said with reference to the blood work result Bean Bean is possible to be FIP. I feel devastated at that moment. Vet told us to look for information on Internet and it could save your cat.
We found uncle Kit, and he is amazing. He is very patient, teach and guide us how to do the injection.
Kit helps to do the first Bliss for Bean Bean, we are very worry because he is not feeling well after the injection.
the second day, it's very fantastic as Bean Bean is starting to walk around.
3days later, our vet said the bloodcount is not showing FIP, and tells us to stop the treatment.
But by our observation, Bean Bean did not do with any other medicine, and he is getting improvement.
Go with my gut I believe it's FIP related.
We switch to pill at the 12th day as the injection is too hard to do.
We also observe the weight change from 2.4kg (around 10th Jan 2023) to around 4.5kg at the last day of treatment.
I hope all the cats with this disease will be cured, we are parents and we will support each other.
Today is the 1st birthday of Bean Bean, weight is around 5.6kg.
we are parents and we will support each other.
Thanks again
